Welcome to the dedicated
venue and resource centre for roots, folk and world music in the centre of Oxford.
is a stunning purpose-built complex
ideally situated in the heart of Oxford,
2 minutes from the railway station, in the old Jam Factory - a grand
Victorian building now fully refurbished as a folk arts centre.
Visit our site regularly for updates on artist information, details of forthcoming workshops and courses, special events, The Music Room instrument shop and Global Jam - a CD & tape shop. You can also link from here to a world of music resources.
Our
main venue is the
- a state-of-the-art concert hall which is a home to the very best in roots and folk music from around the world.

features an impressive 40 channel, 5k sound system by Freestate. The One World decor in the

drawing from a spectacular and diverse array of folk art themes. From behind our 30 foot bar (designed and hand-built by local
craftsmen) we serve real ale from the West Berkshire Brewery,
Guinness, Westons real cider and a whole host of exotic world brews, all at pub prices. The visual centrepiece of
is a fabulous triptych by Creatrix - 'Windows On The World'. Open every evening from 7.30pm to 1am (Mon - Sat), 11pm Sun.
